The association of Saturn with the Five of Wands didn’t sit right with me until I had kiddos. When we read about Saturn, we read about melancholy, restrictions, depression, oppression. We read about fear and growth. This is Saturn in his domicile, in his home, coldly exacting boundaries with a gleaming scythe. Saturn in Leo is a different matter - Saturn in Leo is the pressure cooker forcing heat into tough tissue. This is the Five Of Wands - how play and fighting, how argument and competition, force us into more tender versions of ourselves.
